Our Story

Based in Vernon, British Columbia, Maggie’s Celtic Golf Collection is proudly celebrating nine years in business in 2026.

Our story began ten years ago when we went shopping for new golf club headcovers. A few of ours had gone missing, while others were looking tired and worn. We found very few options, and the quality was disappointing. So, we decided to try making our own.

We both grew up in homes where, if you needed something, you made it. Our mothers were talented seamstresses, and they taught us to appreciate what skilled hands and careful craftsmanship can create.

With her experience in patterns and design, Sandra was initially more comfortable around a sewing machine. Henry, a certified Class A clubmaker who was already making golf clubs, soon learned his way around one too. His eye for fine detail made him a natural fit for production, and today he takes the lead in handcrafting our tartan headcovers. Sandra manages our online store, while Henry also handles the product photography.

It is truly a team effort. We consult with each other often as we work to give every customer a thoughtful, personal experience.

Authentic tartans connect our products to Scotland and to the Scottish heritage of golf. With Sandra’s Scottish ancestry, tartan headcovers were a natural choice. The name “Maggie,” carried by several generations of women in her Scottish family, brings that heritage into the heart of our brand.

Today, we create handcrafted golf club headcovers and accessories for customers across Canada and beyond. We use high-quality materials, including authentic tartans sourced from woollen mills in Scotland, and make every piece with an artisan’s attention to detail.

We are proud of the quality of our work and grateful for the wonderful response from our customers. We also offer special-order clan tartans and custom embroidery, helping golfers create something distinctive and meaningful.
